Speaking of "Gang Of Gin", it's quite controversial. Pete lashes out at Carl and Alan McGee in a rather crass way:

"Carl is kept sedated, the front man elevated...
and McGee doing all he can to ruin my band and keep me out of the way"

It goes on in a suitably bitter manner--while the lyrics are cringe-worthy, the music is actually quite good. The song alternates between white reggae ala "Cyclops" and Smiths-esque jingle jangle. I would post it here, but Timeforheroes.net prefers to generate traffic via content, not via illegal downloads ;-)

In Other News:
  • London's Observer newspaper will feature a five track Libertines CD in the near future, so look out for that. (Thanks Brett)
  • Pete will not appear at "Monk Aid"
  • Rough Trade is putting together a new Libs DVD
